When we reflect on 2023 our hearts are filled with gratitude for the many people who support us in doing what we love to do and who bring so much joy to our lives. For us, our professional and personal lives blend, not just because we formed a “mother and son” team this year, the Sid & Jacqueline Real Estate Group, but because many of our clients have become our friends and refer us to their friends, so much so that almost every one of our sales this year was with a previous client or because of a referral. One of those sales that we were fortunate to be part of this year was a record-breaking sale – the highest condo sale price in the past 10 years and 2nd highest on record in B.C. (as per MLS®). We remain so grateful that our client trusted us to represent them in this transaction and for all the goodwill that brought a total of 48 deals together in 2023.
Every transaction on behalf of our clients matters to us - whether it is representing a first-time buyer or seasoned real estate investor in the purchase or sale of a small condo or a detached house, nothing compares to the feeling of helping our clients achieve their real estate goals.
We are thankful for recognitions this past year that included Jacqueline receiving the REBGV Master Medallion Club membership (5 consecutive years in the Top 10% of Realtors in Greater Vancouver), Sid achieving REBGV Medallion Club status, Jacqueline receiving the Top Producer award from Oakwyn Realty and Sid receiving an Oakwyn Realty Sales Excellence award. Both Sid and Jacqueline were named individually as “Top 100 British Columbia Real Estate Agents on Social Media” by Property Spark and Jacqueline achieved Guild Membership with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and was interviewed by BIV.
Whether it was at our Team Launch Party, sponsoring events such as Art Rapture’s The Throwback and an Evening in Damascus in support of Rainbow Refugee, or supporting charitable or community events we love such as the Dr. Peter Centre Life Commitment Gala and Pride Cocktail Kickoff, the Momentum Gala for Ballet BC, among others, we valued sharing time with many wonderful people while celebrating the efforts of those who work to improve the community we live in.
This year also saw us building on our relationships with other Realtors across the continent to provide excellent service to our clients in markets throughout North America, including Whistler, New York, and L.A.. Here at home, relationships mean everything too, and we would like to send a heartfelt thank you to our Realtor colleagues, our network of professionals that provide services to our clients, and to everyone at our brokerage.
